Puttur: Pro-ISIS graffiti appears on road - people turn anxious

Puttur, Mar 26: After observing that graffiti in the name of ISIS had appeared on the road leading to a private college in Nehru Nagar in the town, panic and anxiety spread among the people here.

The writing had appeared on the road leading to the Pilingoor graveyard near the said college that is laid with interlocks. the mystery writer claims that 'D K Ravi (IAS) was killed by me. So many police will be killed in future and you will get good news like this - ISIS'. The sentences have been written with chalk pieces.

It may be recalled that in January last year, some writings inviting people to join ISIS organization, and derogatory comments about Swami Vivekananda had appeared in the road and culvert near the same college. At that time, the town police had registered a suo motu case.

The police said no case has so far been registered relating to the present incident. Only a proper investigation would be able to reveal whether this is the handiwork of some mischief mongers or real representatives of ISIS organization.

    This fixation of blame against other religions for the ills of a particular religion will not take us anywhere but to despair. The religions were invented by some vested personnel who wanted to control the masses. The religious scripture thus written which are filled with fairy tales and half truths, were agreeable to the masses during those dark ages but to the present age it is all funny, if seriously and open mindedly looked into.
    Just think this over,
    If you’d be born and raised inside a prison you’d find the walls very normal, the bars very commonplace, the guards very typical. You’d never imagine there was something other than captivity. You’d probably fight vehemently against anyone suggesting even a little freedom from your day to day experiences. Think about that and then ponder what your religion has imposed upon you since the day you are born.

    Why are you angry with the Jews Mr.Shahnawaz? Don't Jews too have the right to have a separate state of their own in the manner Pak was created ? Aren't there so many Arab countries already ? Are only Muslims entitled to create separate state's as in the case of Pakistan? What about the brutal torture and murder of Jews on 26/11 by Muslims ? Why are you silent on that ?
