Deshpande promises Yathri Nivas at Infant Jesus Bikarnakatte

Mangaluru, March 26: Karnataka Minister of Tourism, R V Deshpande has promised a Yatri Nivas in Bikarnakatte, Mangaluru for the convenience of devotees who arrive at the Infant Jesus shrine.

Answering a question by MLC Ivan D' Souza in the Legislative council on Mar 25 he said "The work on Yatri Nivas near Jain Basadi in Venur is completed. The work on Yatri Nivasas near Kateel Durga Parameshwaritemple and Moodbidri Jain Mutt is in progress.”

“A Tourist information center, toilet, bus stand and other facilities will be made available near Kadri Manjunatha temple. An amount of Rs 25 lacs are released for road work, drinking water, toilet, seating arrangements and information center at Puttur Koti Chennaya Padumale hilly region”, he said.
