Free WiFi at Ghaziabad police station


Ghaziabad, March 27 (IANS): Ghaziabad's Sihani Gate police station on Friday became the first police station to offer free WiFi access to every visitor to the police station.

The facility was inaugurated on Friday by Senior Superintendent of Police Dharmendra Yadav.

The police station has been awarded ISO 9001 certification as well.

The documentation procedure in the police station also conforms to ISO standards. Eight CCTV cameras have been installed covering the lock up room, office and other areas.

Other police stations, especially those bordering Delhi like Indirapuram, Link Road, Sahibabad and Loni will follow suit, Yadav said.

He also conducted the annual inspection on this occasion.
