Wockhardt hospitals honoured with Golden Globe Tigers Award


Mumbai, March 28 (IANS): The world's leading health care provider - Wockhardt hospitals - has been honoured with the Golden Globe Tigers Award 2015 for its compassion and consistency in adhering to high standards of superior and specialised health care.

The nine awards the hospital received include best training initiative in health care, dream employer of the year and best organisation development programme of the year.

Wockhardt Hospitals is the only health care provider across the continent to be honoured with the coveted Malaysia Best Employer Brand Award and the prestigious human resource (HR) awards at the World HRD Congress 2015 summit.

Wockhardt hospitals was chosen for the award among other leading health care institutions from 32 nations.

"It's a great honour to receive the prestigious award. These awards demonstrate Wockhardt Hospital's dedication and efforts to provide world class services of excellence in health care," said Zahabiya Khorakiwala, managing director of Wockhardt hospitals.

The awards ceremony was held in Malaysia on Friday.

Khorakiwala further said that the hospital since its inception has come a long way with its uncompromising values, spirited teamwork and pioneering determination, and to win such an internationally acclaimed award speaks volumes for itself.

Rajani Tewari, the HR head of Wockhardt Hospitals, said: "We trust this accreditation will provide us with unique opportunity to continually improve on the quality and standard of care we provide to our valued patients and staff."
