M'luru: Bunts to hold 'Bandhavya' conclave on Apr 2, to launch info directory

Mangaluru, Mar 30: "Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathr Sangha (R) will hold an open conclave (Bahiranga Adhiveshana)'Bandhavya' on Thursday April 2 in Bunts Hostel at 3pm.





On this occasion a project to collect information for 'Vishwa Buntara Mahithi Kosha'(World Bunt's Information Directory) will be initiated.

"The community's various achievers will be honoured, financial assistance will be provided to the physically challenged and talent award will be presented on this occassion," said Maladi Ajith Kumar Rai, President of Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha (R) DK.

"The information directory will be helpful in bringing the people of the community scattered in various parts of the world under one roof. It will help in knowing their social, economical,
professional, marital, health, agricultural, residential, cultural and their entire living condition."

"The information directory is mainly used for seeking relevant information on  education, employment, matrimonial help, medical aid, blood and organ donation, distress help, business guidance and guidance on various matters of the community," he revealed.

A questionnaire seeking information from the 'Vishwa Buntara Mahithi Kosha'(World Bunt's Information Directory) will be released on this occasion. To collect the information for the directory one representative with 10 volunteers per village will be appointed who will collect information by visiting every house.

He also said that there are approximately 4.80 lakhs bunts in the three districts like Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Kasargod.

Om Prakash, IPS DIG Karnataka will inaugurate this programme. On the occassion A J Shetty of AJ Institute, Mumbai Bunt Sangha president Karnikere Vishwanatha Shetty, MD Prakash Shetty of MRG Groups of Hotel, Dr M Mohan Alva of Alvas Education Institute, Dr Naresh Shetty of Bangalore Bunts Association, Mumbai Bunt's Association president Sham N Shetty will be the guests of honour.

Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathr Sangha (R) has planned to build a new Bunt Community Hall and commercial complex worth Rs 160 crores.

Kavu Hemanath Shetty joint secretary of Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathr Sangha (R), Manamohan Shetty treasurer of Buntara Yane Nadavara Mathru Sangha (R) were present on this occasion.
