Abu Dhabi: Bearys Welfare Forum to celebrate decennial on Apr 17

Abu Dhabi, Mar 31: Bearys Welfare Forum, Abu Dhabi, a well-known social and community organization in UAE, respected for its philanthropic and charitable works completed 10 years of fruitful services to the community.



In line with its 10th anniversary celebrations BWF announced its grand decennial program – 'BWF- Dashmanostva' and names of the 'BWF-Dashmanostva Award' winners from all walks of life.

The program will be held on April 17, 5.00 pm onwards

Venue- India Social and Cultural Centre, Abu Dhabi

Dignitaries from Karnataka, UAE and other GCC countries will attend the function.

“This program is organized not only to celebrate 10 glorious years of inception but to look out for new charity ventures. In principle it is celebrating '10 years of social and community service'.

It will organize year-long events and charity projects, as decided in the 10th anniversary organizing preparatory executive committee meeting,” announced Mohamed Ali Uchil, president of the BWF in a press conference.

Abdulla Madumoole, general secretary, Hamza Abdul khader and Mohamed Rafeeque, vice presidents, Basheer Bajpe, chief advisor BWF were present at the press meet. The guiding principle of BWF is to reach the poorest of the poor in the community, and achieve social responsibilities like - feeding the needy, helping a poor girl to get married, educating a boy, building a house for the homeless, helping a needy patient, building a toilet, supporting someone in order to get employed and so on.

On the side lines of the press meet, Bearys Welfare Forum has announced the drive for construction of the 3rd phase of 'Shouchalaya Project', a pilot project for construction of toilets to the poor and needy in society irrespective of caste and religion. They announced the completion of 100 toilets and their plan to construct another 100 toilets in the South Kanara and Udupi districts. Applications have been invited. They have received 75 applications and the construction work started at Puttur and Sullya taluk. The forum has arranged weddings for 81 couples at the cost of Rs 1.5 crore (including 16 couples on 5th mass marriage ceremony held on October 18, 2014 at Mangaluru) for economically-backward members of the muslim community.

He informed that the chief minister of Karnataka Siddharamaia, U T Khader, health minister, Vinay Kumar Sorake, minister for urban development, B A Moideen, former education minister, Mani Shankar Ayer, MP Rajya Sabha, MLA Moideen Bava, A S Puthige, editor in chief, Vartha Bharathi, Asif, Amaco, Saudi Arabia, M B Farook, president, Bearys Welfare Association, Bengaluru, B M Mumtaj Ali, president Al Badriya Educational Association, Boluvar Mohamed Kunhi, famous Kannada writer, G A Bava, Rtrd DCP, Umar Teekay, Teekays Interior Solutions, U H Umer, chairman, career guidance center, B A Mohammed Ali, office superintendent NMPT, Hyder Parthipady, Janata Dal leader, Muhammad Baddoor and dignitaries from UAE, leaders of Gulf based community organizations, dignitaries from GCC, community leaders from Karnataka and some of the other dignitaries are expected to attend the program.

A reception and organizing committee is formed consisting of Mohd Siddik Kaup, Siddik Uchil, Hameed Gurupur, Abdul Majeed, Imran Kudroli, Mohd Kallapu, Jaleel Gurupur, Abdul Ravoof, Basheer Bajpe, Moinudeen Handel, Nazeer Ubar, Hanif Ullal, Mustafa Mata, Rasheed Bijai, Anas, Jaffer Sadik, Rasheed V K, Ismail Kutty Shimoga and Majeed Athhor.

All the community members are requested to attend all forthcoming BWF programmes, and to strengthen BWF in order to serve the needy of the community.
