Udupi: Injured in accident, PU student breathes last

Udupi, Apr 1: Jeevan Shetty (17), son of the late Seetaram Shetty from Badakeri village in Kundapur taluk, who was injured in an accident which occurred on Sunday March 29 afternoon, breathed his last on Tuesday March 31 in a private hospital at Manipal.

Jeevan was travelling as pillion rider of a motor bike being driven by Jagannath Shetty. A maxi cab vehicle had hit his motor bike on Perampally bridge road in Manipal, injuring Jeevan seriously. In the accident, Jagannath Shetty, and another person named Naveen Shetty, were also injured. These two persons are recovering, it is learnt.

Jeevan was a second PU student.
