Dubai, Apr 2: Shri Shanaishchara Seva Samithi, Dubai as a part of their 5th annual pooja are going to present 'Shri Shanaishchara Pooja' on April 10 at JSS School, Al Safa Behind Gulf News, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. The pooja formalities will start from 3 pm to 8 pm with other programmes.
Shree Vikhyatananda Swamiji of Hosmar Matt, Karkala will grace the ceremony with his blessings while Purohit M J Praveen Bhat from Mumbai will conduct the pooja rituals with Kalasha Prathistapane as the main archaka.
Minister for health and family welfare, Government of Karnataka, U T Khader will grace the programme as guest of honour. Other guests from India include Leelaksha Karkera, managing director, Namma Kudla, Sowmya Leelaksha Karkera, district Rajyotsawa awardee Pradeep Alva, vice president of KPCC labour Division K S Amir Ahmed Thumbe, Tharanath Shetty of Halekote Mariamma Temple, Karunakar Shetty president of Vijaya Bank officers union, Mangaluru, Shrikanth Rao, cameraman of Namma Kudla and Jayaraj Devadiga, chief editor of Namma Kudla.
For the first time a team from Shree Shaneeshwara Bhakta Vrinda, Pakshikere, Kinnigoli who served for more than 22 years back in India along with Yakshamithraru Dubai will be performing a non-stop 3 hour 'Taala Maddale' on Shani Katha. A team of distinguished guests including Satish Shetty Bondel, Seetharam Kumar Kateel, Ananda Shetty, Vijaya Kumar Shetty, Kadri Navanit Shetty, Padmanabha Shettigar and Prasanna Shetty from Mangaluru will be arriving to present this programme.
The guests will be welcomed by the famous five men from the Keralite drum beats group, 'Kolata' by Shri Krishna Bhajana Vrinda, tiger dance, doll dance (gombe aata) by Prabhakar Poojary and team, 'Bhoota Nritya' and ladies of Shree Varalakshmi Samithi group to the premises in a grand procession. Other programme include bhajans and keerthans. 'Pravachana' by Shree Vikhyatananada Swameeji will be the highlight of the day.
The total programme will be telecast live by Namma Kudla Tulu channel from Dubai.
Harish Sherigar, Satheesh Venkataramana and Praveen Kumar Shetty are the sponsors of the programme. The programme will conclude at 8 pm with Maha Mangalarati and Maha Prasada distribution.
