Mangaluru: Reckless car driver accounts for biker's life at Kulur

Mangaluru, Apr 2: It is learnt that due to the carelessness of a car driver, the vehicle hit a motor bike rider on Wednesday April 1 at Kulur in the city. The bike rider lost his life in the accident.

Sunil Acharya, a resident of car street here, was the unfortunate victim of this accident.

Sunil was going towards Panambur from Kulur, when the car, which approached the motor bike from opposite direction, although the Kulur Bridge road is one-way, and hit the two-wheeler. He suffered critical injuries in the accident. Acharya breathed his last when being taken to a private hospital for treatment.

The eyewitnesses said that faulty driving on the part of car driver, Anand Shekhar from Bykampady, was the root cause of this accident. A case relating to the accident was registered in Suratkal police station.
