Four dead as helicopter crashes in Brazil


Sao Paulo, April 3 (IANS/EFE): Four people died when a helicopter they were flying in crashed on Thursday in a residential neighbourhood in Brazil, media reported.

The helicopter crashed into a house that was under construction in the Fazendinha-Porto Vitorio residential compound on the outskirts of Carapicuiba town, according to preliminary information provided by the fire department in the neighbouring town of Barueri.

The Brazilian Air Force said that it was pursuing an investigation to determine the cause of the accident, identify the victims and provide more details on the incident.
