Udupi: Hyderabad-based foundation pledges Rs 600 crore to Pejawar Math

Udupi, Apr 3: Pejawar Math will get an aid of Rs 600 crore for the development of its educational institutes, it has been revealed.

Hyderabad based Sri Sathi Gopalakrishna Reddy foundation is the donor of this huge amount.

The above information was given by Sri Vishweshateertha Swamiji of Pejawar Math in a press meet on Thursday April 2. He said that the amount will be utilized for the development of the educational institutes managed by the Math and some other programmes for the needy.

The future plans of Math include residential colleges in Udupi, Hubli and Mysuru. Udupi residential college will be the first to be opened. These colleges will accommodate students from all the communities from south India especially the poor. The colleges will have education from primary level to college level. Free food and accommodation will be provided here. A college in Hyderabad Karnataka is also in offing. Government help has been sought in this regard.

Rs 250 crore will be spent on the super-speciality hospital to be built by Sri Krishna Sevashrama in Marath Halli. The government has already provided 2 acres land for the same.

The Math has drawn many people oriented future plans including free insurance to the poor based on this donation .

    they told it will take 15 days time to come money from abroad is it came.Before paper statement swamiji should enquire about their address and if he is genuine then they should give paper statements.We become very happy by seeing news like this.but today we are very unhappy because money not yet came.

    Sri Pejavar Shree has been doing only welfare activities for last 70 yearsHe is 85 now.Many educational instituitions,poor-peoples and children mid day meals,houses for flood affected and earth-quake victims,Nepal victims,KrishnaSevashrama for Hightech health care to poor and many many more including goshalas for old and neglected cows.

    one day early in the morning i was on my regular walk one car stopped (outsiders)and asked me sir where we can get cup of tea i guided them, then they asked me sir where we can have toilet some where here, i really felt very bad ,we do not basic felicities here.

    Note:Sachin Tendulkar Andhra village dattu tegedu kondu ,development maadiddare (within 5 months)..every house has toilet,24 hours water /electricity and play ground for children. There is a way,where there is a WILL......

    please do not look at this from ur micro communal angle..i got a notice from IT for depositing one lakh rupees in my spouses name..that too she saved it from her monthly quota n converted it to a term deposit..when source of one lakh rupees is questioned,,what do u think that source of rupees 600 crores should not be doubted...let us know or let tge ED be satisfied..no one will give his hard earned money to this tune to charity...only eady money goes to charity...as expiation os sins or in the name of pleasing gods for their unlawful n illegal activities....even u can question arab or ford foundation donation through RTI n no one is stopping u dude..grow up..why an average honest man doesn't have lakhs of rupees when these people have crores to donate??

    I don't trust the pledge, especially if it is coming from Telugu or Hyderabad guy. Do you remember a Hyderabad guy pledged to re build wenlock hospital and Karnataka govt demolished the hospital. Later that Hyderabad guy disappeared.

    Mr. Reddy says this donation is coming from his savings which he did after investing in stock markets. This leaves us with further suspicion.

    Definitely someone has to intervene and look into this.

    Bengaluru has many super specialty hospitals. Then why one more super specialty hospital in Marathahalli near Bengaluru ?
    In fact this hospital should be built in Hyderabad Karnataka Area which is very backward even in health care sector also. Of course only if the promise by that unknown foundation becomes reality.

    JNB Bejai has told only half of the story of demolition of Lady Goshan.
    The second half of the story is that - the man who offered to rebuilt Lady Goshan was also an Adhra Pradesh Reddy. After getting sanction from Karnataka govt he fully demolished the Hospital building built by British, and then collected all the old pure teak wooden pillars windows wooden beams, roof materials, and also Caste-Iron pillars manufactured in England and took all these to Andhra and sold for Rs.5/- crores and vanished. Till today he is not detected as no one had checked the background of that Reddy. No police complaint was lodged by D.C. or local MLA. Absolutely no effort was done to trace that fraudster who had gobbled entire Hospital which is a Guinness Record.
    Later on just to cover up their mistake the then BJP govt pressurized MRPL to rebuild the Lady Goshan Hospital under their Scheme of Corporate Social Responsibility, which is now almost complete.
    Why this case was not given to CID for Investigation ? Can anyone guess?
    Anyway let us hope that the one who has offered Rs.600 crores to Pejavara is not another such Reddy who swallowed Lady goshan.

    I recently read about some scam near Kaup in which land was acquired from farmers for setting up plastic industry & promising jobs and later a layout was developed. And they are dividing the locals to suppress the opposition.

    hope same Reddy Foundation offered Lady ghoshan hospital Rs-500/- Crores in Yeddys time and straight away Yeddy managed to demolish Lady Ghoshan on the spot and layed foundation stone along with then DC Sobod Yadav. after that no news.

    Later waiting more than 4 years Sriman M.Virappa Moily generated funds through Petroleum ministry and re-started the work of same hospital.

    People now it is up to you whom to Hats Off, because I am not supporter of any political party.

    Raghava Reddy story you are referring to appears an intentional built up by closely connected people in politricks by giving massive govt sops to the industrialist internally agreeing for a share duly divided by few.This might be a preplan to get funds in their pocket by handing over a fargi cheque for 18 crores.These gimmicks are beyond the thinking of common people.....Only RTI can reveal their quantum of benefit Reddy got from Karnataka govt at that time.
