Mangaluru, Apr 3: On this auspicious day of Good Friday, Catholic Sabha, Kulshekar in association with ICYM Cordel unit visited Lady Goshen Hospital and distributed fruits to the in- patients.







J R Lobo, local MLA distributed the fruits and spoke on the occasion. He said, “We catholics have been praying, fasting and sacrificing for the past 40 days. Today is a special day because Jesus Christ died for us and it is appreciable that Catholic Sabha and ICYM are visiting and serving people on this day. All religions preach well but implementation of this preaching will give satisfaction to the person and will benefit society.

Another guest, mayor Jacintha Alfred said, “Jesus Christ sacrificed his life and died on the cross for the salvation of mankind. This programme is very meaningful and has set an example for others. I wish they come up with more programmes like this.”

Catholic Sabha founder president and Syndicate member MP Noronha, hospital superintendent Shakunthala, tutor Precilla, Catholic Sabha president Edna Noronha, secretary Shantha D’souza, Leo Mascarenhas, Alban Pinto, Denis Fernandes, ICYM Cordel unit president Jeethesh Lasrado, secretary Ancita D’souza, convener Sushil Noronha and other Catholic Sabha and ICYM members were present.
