Delhi Police arrest international fugitive


New Delhi, April 6 (IANS): Delhi Police have arrested international fugitive Raminder Singh, accused of attempt to murder and raping two girls in Scotland in 2012, an officer said on Monday.

"Raminder Singh was arrested yesterday (Sunday) from Delhi. He was staying in Chandigarh under a fake identity," Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime Branch) Ravindra Yadav told IANS.

Raminder Singh, 28, escaped from Scotland after committing the crime and was arrested on the request of British authorities.
