Udupi: Brahmavar gets its first mall - City Centre inaugurated

Udupi, Apr 9: City Centre, the first shopping mall of Brahmavar, was inaugurated on Thursday April 9. 

Halady Srinivas Shetty, MLA, Kundapur inaugurated the City Centre mall, while Raghupati Bhat, former MLA of Udupi inaugurated the Royal Inn Boarding & Lodging on the same occasion.

 

Annushree, Kannada film actress inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp.

T E Nagappa, regional manager, State Bank of India, Malika Balakrishna, zilla panchayat member, Udupi, Vittal Poojary, taluk panchayat member, Udupi, Sharada, president of Varamballi gram panchayat and partners of Brahmavar Promoters were present on the occasion.

Halady Srinivas in his address said, "Today Brahmavar Promoters’ dream has come true. Luxurious things have become a necessity today. Customer’s interest will change with changing trends. With this mall, customers have lots of choices and all facilities are available under one roof. Customers believe in quality products rather than external attraction."

Arun Kumar Shetty gave a brief introduction about City Centre. Chandrasekhar Shetty welcomed the gathering. Vikram Prabhu delivered the vote of thanks. Roshan Shetty compered the programme.

Ashalatha Chandrasekhar Shetty, managing director of Brahmavar Promoters Pvt Ltd, Arun Kumar Shetty, Jeevan Shetty, Ratna Karunakar Shetty, Bhaskar Shetty, Anuradha Uday, B M Bhat, Amitha Rajendra Prasad Shetty, Dr Malathi Sooda, H Dayanand Shetty, Venutha Vikram Prabhu, Ravindranath, partners of the Brahmavar Promoters were present on the occasion.


About City Centre

Spread over one acre of land in the heart of the Brahmavar city, adjacent to national highway 66 and near to Brahmavar service bus stand, City Centre consists of four storeys with nearly 100 commercial shops, a 1000-capacity air-conditioned marriage hall named 'Kumkum', and a 250-capacity 'Chandana' conference hall.

As many as 30 international standard suite rooms, air-conditioned vegetarian food court, air-conditioned family non vegetarian family restaurant, will be housed under Royal Inn Boarding & Lodging.

Nearly 100 cars can be parked in the basement of the complex.

'Kumkum' air-conditioned marriage hall, 'Chandana' conference hall and the suite rooms in Royal Inn are available for service. The rest will start functioning very shortly.
