Bihar Police arrest man who looted 14 kg of gold


Patna, April 10 (IANS): Bihar Police have arrested a man in Rohtas district who looted 14 kg of gold from a businessman in Gujarat, police said on Friday.

Arjun Ram was carrying a reward of Rs.1 lakh on him. He was arrested from his village, Dumaria in Rohtas district, after police got a tip-off.

"We have arrested Arjun Ram, who was absconding from Gujarat after looting 14 kg of gold from a businessman in Rajkot," Superintendent of Police Shivdeep Lande said.

Police have not recovered the gold from him yet.

Arjun Ram used to work with the businessman in Rajkot at his shop and looted the gold last year, police said.
