Rajnath assures full security, protection to minorities


New Delhi, April 13 (IANS): Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday assured full security and protection to minority communities in the country.

Interacting with a three-member delegation of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India, the minister said strict action would be taken against those who disturb communal harmony in the country.

"Strictest possible action will be taken by the central government against people who indulge in such acts," he said in a statement.

The delegation thanked the minister for providing adequate security for religious places of the minority communities.
