Modi visits Siemens academy, meets German vice chancellor in Berlin


Berlin, April 14 (IANS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a busy schedule in Berlin on Monday, visiting the Siemens Technical Academy, meeting German Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel, who is also minister for economic affairs and energy, and finally attending a community reception in the evening.

Modi arrived here from Hannover where he jointly inaugurated the India pavilion at the Hannover Messe fair with German Chancellor Angela Merkel.

At the Siemens Academy, Modi went around theA exhibits and heard students as they explained their vocational work there.

Later, Modi met Gabriel, who is president of the Social Democratic Party (SPD).

Modi attended a community reception in the evening.
