Bengaluru: Chief Justice D H Waghela transferred

Bengaluru, Apr 14: Through a notification issued by the Rashtrapathi Bhawan, Karnataka Chief Justice, D H Waghela, has been transferred and appointed as the Chief Justice (CJ) of Odisha High Court.

As per the Presidential order, the CJ has been asked to take over charge as the new CJ of Odisha within two months.

The CJ, who took over as the Chief Justice of Karnataka High Court in 2013, is due for retirement in August next year. In his place, the President has appointed senior judge of Kolkata High Court, Justice Subhro Kamal Mukherjee.
