Indo-German partnership at new level: Modi


Berlin, April 14 (IANS): Prime Minster Narendra Modi on Tuesday said India and Germany will be successful in bringing the partnership between the two countries to a new level.

Addressing the media jointly with German Chancellor Angela Merkel after their talks, Modi said: "We had widespread discussions about Indo-German relations. We will be successful in bringing Indo-German strategic partnership to a new level."

Modi said Merkel has accepted the invitation of the Indian lion (the logo for the 'Make in India') for cooperation and investment in the Indian economy.

The prime minister thanked Germany for choosing India as the partner country in the world's biggest trade fare in Hannover.
