Maoists' training camp demolished in Bihar


Patna, April 15 (IANS): A training camp of Maoists was demolished in Bihar's Nawada district on Wednesday, police said.

Security forces arrested three hard core Maoists in the operation and recovered arms and ammunition as well as Maoist literature from the camp.

Acting on a tip-off, a Special Task Force (STF) team from Patna raided the forest area in Kauakol in Nawada and demolished the training camp of the Maoists, Inspector General of Police (Operations) Sushil Kopde said.

Security forces on Tuesday recovered 60 landmines from Bhimbandh forest in Munger district, foiling an attempt by Maoists to attack them.
