Mumbai, Apr 15: The trailer of Dil Dhadkane Do (DDD/3D) is out and packs quite a punch. In a nutshell it talks of a family mired in problems that causes a lot of interpersonal tensions, but they don't want the world to know about any of it.

Anil Kapoor and Shefali Shah are parents to Ranveer Singh and Priyanka Chopra who are both in search of their true life partner. The parents want their children settled and the children refuse to settle for anything but the ultimate one for their respective selves. Despite all the tension with their parents the four them are a close knit family especially with Ranveer and
Priyanka proving to be very close siblings.

Anushka Sharma plays Ranveer's love interest while Farhan Akhtar is the love of Priyanka's life who leaves her to realise his dreams. Rahul Bose plays Priyanka's present husband, who she wishes to divorce. The movie seems rife with unspoken feelings and resentment simmering just below the cool facade that they collectively present to the world.

A family drama that promises a story worth watching, it seems, if the trailer is anything to go by. Director Zoya Akhtar has once again it seems brought to the audiences a story yet untold. One that is different from the other run-of-the-mill boy meets girl stories. Already touted as one of the biggest releases of 2015, what with its power packed ensemble cast, it remains to be what the audience reaction will be when the rest of the story is told.
