Bengaluru: Rons Bantwal receives Media Academy Award

Bengaluru, Apr 19: T B Jayachandra on behalf of the chief minister presented the annual Media Academy Award for the year 2014 to daijiworld’s Rons Bantwal at the Banquet Hall of Vidhana Soudha in Bengaluru on Thursday April 16.

Minister for Infrastructure Development, Information and Haj Roshan Baig presided over the function. Social welfare minister H Anjaneya released the documentary on the media awards recipients. Transport minister Ramalingareddy released an informative book on the recipients of awards.

Lok Sabha member P C Mohan , MLCs K Govindaraju and H M Revanna, Kannada culture and information department chief secretary Dr N Naganbika Devi, director of information and public relations department N R Vishukumar, Media academy president M A Ponnappa spoke on the occasion. Academy secretary S Shankarappa was present among others during the ceremony.

Attur Shivaram Bhandary of Shiva's Stylos, Vaastu expert Pandit Naveenchandra R Sanil, Somashekar M Bhandary, Tara Jacintha R Bantwal, P Someshwar, Nagesh Polali and others who witnessed the programme congratulated Rons.

    Rons Bantwal, you rightly deserve the award and God bless you and your family. You are covering lot media in Mumbai and overall, Daijiworld are doing their best work. Even though we are seven seas away from India, we get the latest news with pictures happening around Karnataka and also around India and the world. It is all the hard work of Editor-in chief Walter Nandalike and his team.
