Four boys electrocuted to death in MP river


Teekamgarh, April 20 (IANS): Four young boys died of electrocution in a village in Madhya Pradesh's Teekamgarh district on Sunday when a high tension wire fell into the river in which they were taking a bath.

Superintendent of Police Anurag Sharma told IANS that the incident occurred in Machora village when a duststorm made a high tension wire fall into the Ur river in which the boys --Sunil Ahirwar, Bajendra Ahirwar, Kaushal Ahirwar, and Deepak Ahirwar -- aged 12 to 15 years, were bathing. They died immediately.

The bodies were later recovered from the river and an investigation has been ordered.
