Udupi, Apr 20: As part of MMIST-2015 the Manipal student council of Kasturba Medical College will be presenting the first ever musical concert with Neeraj Shridhar, an Indian singer-songwriter, the lead vocalist of the pop and rock group, the Bombay Vikings.

The show will be held on Wednesday April 22 at KMC Greens, Manipal from 7 pm.

After Farhan Akhtar’s first pro-show at MIT which raised the bar considerably, this concert is bound to have the crowd swinging like never before.

The singer will regale music fans with his popular bollywood songs. One of the first songs will be in 'Hinglish' – a mixture of colloquial Hindi flavored by English, an instant hit with young people.

Neeraj is a popular bollywood playback singer, music director and lyricist. Bombay Vikings became popular with remix hits like 'Kya soorat hai', bollywood hit song 'Woh chali woh chali' and 'Chod do anchal.'

Bombay Vikings is best known for its unique style of incorporating completely new lyrics into an old song with English lines in between, colourful decent videos, impressive singing completely turning it into a whole new song. His rocking songs have the power of moving the audience to a romantic mood and sending them into a trance of love. The two-hour musical performance will set the stage on fire.

The show is part of seven-day non-stop sports tournament organized by MIST.

The KMC student council expects a crowd of over 1,500. All professors from Manipal institutions and management will be present.

The council has categorized tickets in three classes. Ticket booking is already open and available after 5 pm at KMC footboard. So schedule your programmes for the day, hurry and pick up a ticket for the show.
