IIT-JEE Mains 2015: Results to be out on April 27

New Delhi, Apr 22 (Agencies) : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will announce the results of JEE (Main) 2015 on April 27. Candidates who had appeared for the exam can view their results on the official JEE main website jeemain.nic.in


The exam was conducted both in offline and online mode on April 4 and April 10 & 11 respectively. More than 13 lakh students had appeared for the exam this year. Also, no score/ rank card will be mailed/ sent to the candidates.

On the basis of their scores in the exam, around 1.5 lakh top candidates will be shortlisted. These shortlisted candidates will then appear for JEE Advanced, which is scheduled on May 24, 2015. The results of the JEE Advanced will decide on the number of candidates who will be admitted to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by all 16 Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and the Indian School of Mines (ISM), Dhanbad.

    Cutoff marks can rise and on-line students can suffer.
    If CBSE allots additional bonus marks to Offline students owing to multiple discrepancies in answer key, the web Students can suffer enormously.marvels conducting the web examination, please over all Republic of India qualifying marks any district same marks candidate qualified. thanks to all indians.

    whenever CBSE has decided to upload the result at 10 AM on 27th April.
    everybody who is linked wuth jee mains is fully tensed even parents also

    JEE Main Online (11 April) Examination students may suffer due to Bonus marks given to Errors in Offline Exam paper.
    Students of Online (11 April) examination expecting to get 110-125 marks might be adversely affected and may lose the chance to write JEE Advanced and their final Mains ranking may get affected.
    Multiple discrepancies in Answer key to JEE(Main)- Offline Examination have been reported.
    If CBSE allots bonus marks to the students of Offline Examination, the marks of the students of Offline Examination will increase. Cutoff marks will rise and Online students will suffer.
    If CBSE allots more bonus marks to Offline students because of multiple discrepancies in answer key, the online Students will suffer tremendously.
    It is but logical to think that if 4 marks or 8 marks or more marks are given as Bonus marks to more than 11 lakhs students, then Online (11 April) students numbering about 1.5 lakhs or so will be hugely affected by cutoff marks or final JEE rankings.
    Allotting Bonus marks to incorrect key cannot be justified since CBSE is conducting multiple tests and students are given different test papers to write. If there would have been only one test paper for all students, then this decision would have been justified.
    Since students were given different test papers to write, allotting bonus marks (what so ever be the reason) to one test paper will benefit one group of students, while other students will suffer.
    As CBSE will JEE Main result on 27 April, CBSE is requested to balance out the result and not to ruin the future of many Online students.
    The right thing to do for CBSE is to conduct one test on one day (mode of test could be different) for all aspirants.
    In the larger interest of students and for fair evaluation of students CBSE should cancel all these exams and held one new test for all the students. CBSE should not do injustice to even one student.

    CBSE should come clean on this and be transparent
