'Missing' CM sends security into tizzy

Mysuru, Apr 23 (DHNS): Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s disappearance from his house here from 8 am to 10.45 am on Wednesday sent his security into a tizzy.

People who had gathered at his house to submit petitions returned disappointed.

The chief minister, who was in the City to participate in the Basava Jayanti celebrations and other programmes, had stayed back and was relaxing at his TK Layout house. He was expected to travel by car to the Lalit Mahal helipad to fly to Bengaluru. But the security were surprised to find that the chief minister was not in the house.

It is learnt that Siddaramaiah had left his house in a private car and visited a friend’s farmhouse on Manandavadi Road in T Kaaturu village of Mysuru taluk. He reached the helipad by a private vehicle directly.

Last month, too, Siddaramaiah had gone to meet his friends without the knowledge of his security.

Why make it a big issue. Infact he should move around in public transport and not in private Z-security escorted govt. vehicles. All the expenses are borne by tax payers money. What is he doing good as a CM to the society. I would have appreciated if he goes private visit to poor and needy people house rather than to a farm house, to enjoy his life. Disgusting CM's of Karnataka.

Mr. CM, it's a waste of time citizens money that you are in Mysore for Basava Jayanthi. Don't you have any other important work to carry on. In the first place it's your duty to all the wrong doings happening in Karnataka rather than taking religious tours and spending on your security. By the way what made you think you are so special to have security for you. Be a normal citizen CM. Does normal citizen get security cover? You are mis-using public funds in the name of politics. You can donate such exess funds to the poor and needy citizens, which you are absolutely not aware of!
