Mild tremors felt in Mangaluru, parts of Udupi

Mangaluru, Apr 25 (PTI): Mild tremors lasting about 30 seconds were reported from parts of the city around noon today, triggering panic in the area.

The tremors were felt at the hill road, Bavuta Gudde and the light house at 11.50 am, Mining and Geology department officials said.

The tremors shook furniture in some offices from where people ran out in panic, local people in the area said.

According to Department of Mining and Geology Deputy Director Ramappa, the intensity of the mild tremor had not been established yet. It might be slightly over one magnitude on the Richter scale, which would not cause any damage.

Mild tremors were also reportedly felt at Manipal and Udupi, the officials said.

Where there are prayers people are safe. No doubt.
Where people gulp 30 60 and 90 repeatedly also they are safe. For the earth under their feet is always shaking. Not much of a difference. Some fall without the 'quake' effect too. Agree or no Agree?

When earthquake occurs there is no guarantee that places of worship, schools where innocent children are gathered or hospitals filled with patience are spared.

    Dear Readers/Christian Mangalore,
Psalm 91 from Bible, it is my daily prayer as one of my daughters panamenien friend from Panama when I went there in 2008 she told us to read, so that day onwards I started to read it daily during my prayer time, before going to sleep without fail. It is a meaningful powerful prayer. So I request all my brothers and sisters to say this powerful prayer daily.
Dear Almighty Lord give strength to the people who suffered from this tremors.

Such disasters are the result of humans discord, everywhere day today headlines of communal riots, atrocity with regards to religion, harassment on muslims. Judgment day is not far from now, the world has became weak.
Nobody has power to stop such kind of disaster, RSS & BAJRANGDAL are back of banning cow slaughtering, azan on speakers etc etc,
