M’luru: MLC Ivan visits construction site of Tulu Sahitya academy building

Mangaluru, Apr 25: MLC Ivan D' Souza visited the Tulu Sahitya Academy building whose construction is in progress, here on Saturday April 25.

PWD assistant engineer Harish said that the third floor work of the building is in finishing stages. He also said that Rs four crore have been already released for the work and the remaining 80 lacs will be released soon after the work is completed.

MLC Ivan D' Souza suggested the PWD engineer to complete the ground floor work by May 31 and release the floor for Tulu Sahitya Academy.

MLC Ivan said that more funds will be required for the interior and building work and asked to prepare an estimated project report for the release of funds. "The building looks beautiful and it has modern facilities including parking", said MLC Ivan D'Souza.

Tulu Sahitya Academy president Chandrahasa Rai, Academy members Mohan Kalbavi, Jayasheela, Raghu and Engineer Harish were present.
