The main reason behind this celebration is to honor and respect its founders for their long lasting vision. Today none of the founder members are alive to see their dreams being fulfilled. And the very event aims to cherish their memories and remember them for their dedicated and selfless service to this association.

Robert D’souza, Palimar, who is serving as president of the Club for the past 26 years, will be the chief guest and Dayan D’Souza, Mukamar, founder convener of Daiji Dubai will also grace the occasion as a special guest.

The day promises to be filled with entertainment galore, with live music, scintillating dance performances, sumptuous buffet lunch and spot prizes.

Preema D’Souza, one of UAE's top Konkani singers, winner of ‘Best Female Singer’ Award at Gulf Konkani Music Awards-2014, along with Maria, Godwin D’Souza, Jackson D’Souza and Rony Byndoor with their awe-inspiring voices will capture the audience’ hearts, and so also foot-tapping music by Franklin D’souza. Franklin is an accomplished musician who has performed for various bands in Mangaluru and has composed devotional liturgical Konkani album which is to be released in December 2015.

The event will be compered by Ajith Peter D’Souza and the Feetbeat dance group will regale the audience with their exciting dances.

Speaking to daijiworld, coordinator of centenary year committee of SJC, Vincent Corda said, "For us, this Club is second home. It was the dream of our predecessors and it has been materialized. Many have benefitted from it. So time has now come to respect their services. It’s a golden opportunity for the Club members who are currently working here in the UAE to come together to show their gratitude."

"The proceeds of this mega event will go to the betterment of the Club such as repairing of floor, roof, tiles and painting work," said the organizing committee of the event.
