Mangaluru: Immunization camp inaugurated at Kanachur hospital

Mangaluru, Apr 28: To mark ‘World Immunization Week’, a week-long vaccination/immunization camp was inaugurated by Dr Rajeshwari Devi, district surgeon and superintendent of Govt Wenlock Hospital, Mangalore by immunizing a child, here on Tuesday April 28.

Speaking on the importance of the immunization, Dr Rajeshwari Devi applauded the Kanachur Hospital for taking initiate in conducting such a noble camp. She said that better health facility can be provided to needy people only when private hospital utilizes government schemes.

Haji U K Monu, Chairman, Kanachur Hospital and Research Center, said that within a short span of time Kanachur Hospital has already reached pinnacle of success. He optimistically said that very soon Kanachur Hospital will be considered as the best hospital in Coastal Karnataka.

Dr Khaja Naseeruddin, dean, Kanachur Hospital and Research center spoke on the significance of the day.

Abdul Rehman, director, F&A Kanachur Hospital and Research Center, Dr Devi Prasad, medical superintendent, Kanachur Hospital and Research Center, Dr Rohan Monis, Residential Medical Officer, Kanachur Hospital and Research Center were present for the inaugural function.

Dr Sayyid Hanan welcomed the gathering and introduced the chief guest. Nayana Hedge-Nursing Supervisor, briefly explained the significance of immunization. Deepa Manager Front office was master of ceremony. Shubhakar Anchan, PRO, Kanachur Hospital and Research Center proposed vote of thanks.

Refreshment was arranged at the end of the programme.
