Mangaluru, Apr 30: The 161st monthly theatre of Mandd Sobhann titled ‘Bhurgyamlem Sobhann’, will be presented on Sunday May 3 at 6.30 p.m. at Kalaangann, by the children trained in singing, dance and drama, at the ‘Sputt’ 10 days residential camp organised by Mandd Sobhann in association with the Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy and Raknno Weekly, from April 24 to May 3, 2015.
Apart from distributing certificates to all the children who participated in the camp, the best in 3 categories will be awarded and honoured with a cash prize of Rs. 2,000 each and the Best Camper with Rs. 3,000 at the valedictory function, that evening.
Francis E. Cutinho, chairman MCC Bank, Mangaluru, will be the chief guest. Roy Castelino, president, Karnataka Konkani Sahitya Academy will be the special guest and Fr Francis Rodrigues, Editor of Raknno will be the guest of honour.
