BSF kills intruder in Jammu and Kashmir


Jammu, April 30 (IANS): The Border Security Force (BSF) on Thursday killed an intruder on the international border in Jammu and Kashmir.

Amanat Ali, 32, a Pakistani national, was killed at Samba district in Jammu region, an official said.

"At 9 a.m. today (Thursday), Amanat Ali came near fencing on the international border close to Challiyari post of 9th BSF battalion in Samba district," a senior police officer told IANS in Jammu.

"BSF troopers opened fire resulting in the intruder's death on the spot," the officer added.
