CBI to develop centre of excellence in Ghaziabad


Ghaziabad, May 1 (IANS): The CBI is in the process of developing a centre of excellence at its academy here.

The CBI Academy here has signed a memorandum of understanding with IIM Bangalore, National Law School University of India, Bengaluru and several other prestigious institutes to impart professional skills to Indian and international trainees, CBI director Anil Sinha told media persons.

To train the cadets, the CBI has developed a forensic lab to track data from advanced tehnology devices.

Speaking at the investiture ceremony, the director said these developments would enable trainees learn the ropes of investigation pertaining to corruption, drug-related offences, human trafficking, wildlife crime, and also collect data.
