Heavy vehicles permitted only in slow lane and no overtaking allowed over small vehicles. Indian traffic rule should be changed to international standard. Unless traffic rule changed drivers will not change their attitude.

RIP. City bus accidents, rash driving, in-human behaviour of bus conductors with passengers, Speeding in city limits were the speed limit is 25-30KM per hour, All Thanks to our RTO,Traffic police & Bus owners association who is protecting the interest of private bus owners in Mangalore. As long as the Govt. officers get their Hafta / Mammoli, all murders and forgiven. Person killed by speeding bus is not less than a cold blooded murder. Everyday we are fighting against religion, temples, mosques and church issue. Why not Mangaloreans unite together and force the officers to bring law and order inthe city. All Corrupt officers need to transferred or sacked from duty. It's not the bus driver / conductors fault. They are given freedom by bus owners who are protected by Bus owners lobby. When will be end to all this misery Mangalorean's. Will implementing Govt. buses in Mangalore solve this problem?

until private bus owners lobby there we may have to face large no.s such incidents in the future too.i am surprised why public is not having any rally or procession to demand govt.bus service.hope it will solve the bus rally in the city as well as there will be a disciplined employs who will be more polite towards passengers.
so my appeal is to have govt. buses in mangalore as early as possible.
hope it will solve annoying sound of scary horns.

A very common practice by city bus drivers in city limits now a days in Mangalluru city now. This accident spot is a place where bus will run only b/n 10-20kmph...still accident took place. killing by city bus drivers is a common practice now a days in this special Mangaluru city because Law & Order is very very poor in this city. Somebody will comment "RIP" & others "so sad"....a local "FREEDOM FIGHTERs" visit the house of death then chapter closed...vicTim survived with the help of a POOR LAWYER to make another tragedy

very sad and may her soul RIP and Lord grant strength to the family members...
similar incidents again and again but no change in the system.
When our society & system improve and develop to respect human dignity...
We in India still fight for leaders and they play politics.
Many lives are lost just because of errors somewhere in the system.
In the busy cities using 2 wheelers is a problem, then need to look into too...
all public drivers/ bus staff must be oriented & trained and held responsible.
May be the time has come to get rid of all private bus system and to have public/ Govt. service within cities..
Any system which respects, protects and saves life to be enforced.

Most of these private bus drivers are psychos. Once they are on the driving seat, they think that whole road belongs to them and pedestrians and two wheelers are at their mercy. They should be put behind bars permanently. They will realise the value of others life only when they loose their own family memberin an accident like this. Concerned authority should look into the matter and cancel the licence of the said driver permanently.

    Exactly
We can see the volume of traffic which consists maximum number and space occupied by two wheelers on roads and in prime parking slots.
Why can't we have decipline like in airports where the passengers moved between airport and aircrafts with speed limit for safety?
What is the hurry on roads being emergency and priority transactions handled online by mobile technology?
Is there any other reason except ego, pride and competition for this mess which kill innocent victims by taking precious lives?

Day by day traffic on the road is increasing specially Two wheelers. Roads are narrow and there is no proper footpaths. People have to walk on the and vulnerable to get hit vehicles. You can see busy roads like M G Road opposite Manasa tower. RiP

If a terminally ill sick patient dies in the hospital, the people manhandle the doctor without knowing the truth. In this case driver has committed a cold blooded murder of a woman, the crowd should have hit him badly so that he never takes to the wheels ever. His bad Karma will never allow him to live peacefully for the rest of his life.

First n Foremost the Lanes should be marked on the Roads .
The RTA should ensure fitment of Speed governors .
The Buses should not be allowed to WAIT at the Busstops .They should proceed Immediately after ping n Picking up the Passengers.
    Musical/Blaring/irritating horns should be removed...
Rash driven buses should be kept off road for atleast One week to begin with...
RTA should ensure that the Number plates and Lights are Ok.
Let us make Manglore a less noisy and safe place to Drive....

    RIP!!

DK, with so many road accident deaths everyday, should easily rank on the top of the scale in the entire country!! In another accident somewhere near Udipi two innocents were done to death by a rowdy tipper vehicle!!

Most of the culprits are heavy vehicles mostly pvt. buses and tippers, they have literally become 'Yamadhoots"!! How many more innocents will have to sacrifice their lives/get maimed before corrective action comes in is anybody's guess!!

It is high time govt. pulls the leash on these pvt. buses and awards strict punishments to errant drivers so as to act a strong deterrent for others who flout all traffic norms!! Jai Hind!!
