Five militants killed in Afghanistan

Kabul, May 3 (IANS): At least five militants were killed and seven others injured on Sunday in Afghanistan's Nangarhar province.

"Several militants attacked security checkpoints in Bati Kot district. The Afghan Local Police forces repelled the attack. Four ALP personnel and three militants were injured during the clash," Xinhua quoted an official statement as saying.
