New Delhi, May 3 (IANS): Three people of a family, including a couple, died while three children suffered injuries when a motorcycle they were riding on was hit by a speeding vehicle here early Sunday, police said.

The accident took place around 4.30 a.m. in Delhi's Swaroop Nagar.

Those killed were Deshraj, 32, his brother Yogesh, 30, and wife Morkali, 28.

Deshraj's two daughters -- Sadhna, 3, and Kiran, 2, -- and five-year-old son Nitin suffered injuries in the accident.
