Kasargod, May 3: In a car and scooter accident which took place at Puththige near Kumble, two persons have lost lives.
Narayana Bhat (72) from Permude and Vishnu Bhat (40) from Peltadka are the persons deceased. Both were travelling by the scooter when the accident happened. They were cooks by profession.
They were proceeding to Permude from Madhuri after some work, when a car which was on its way to Sathangoli collided with the scooter at Kattathadka Junction. As a result the riders got injured and were rushed to the hospital. But they succumbed to injuries before reaching the hospital.
Ibrahim and Anas who were travelling in the car were injured.
The scooter has been damaged beyond repair.
Kumble police have registered the case.
