Mangaluru, May 4: Notorious rowdy sheeter Sampath Bhandary was arrested at Panjimogaru here on Monday May 4.

Sampath (35), a resident of Urundadigudde near Panjimogaru, was arrested by Urwa police led by SI Ravish Naik.

Sampath was arrested for allegedly threatening the owner of Mahima Bus Service by brandishing a weapon and demanding money.

The police recovered a sword from Sampath.

He is an accused in the murder of rowdy sheeter Vamanjoor Rohi alias Rohidas Shetty in 2009. He was arrested in the case, but let out on bail sometime ago by second additional district and sessions court.

Police sources said that Sampath faces around 12 to 14 cases in Kavoor police station.

Bail is on sale with the lawyers. Who gave guarantee for this rowdy, arrest him instantly and also the lawyer who applied for his bail. This is really comedy in India, man with so many murders is roaming freely and eating and drinking at free of cost, wow mera Bharat Mahan. Soon the common man will not have any faith on our police. Rotten law and order.

If police manage to find out the buyer of the above style weapon/Katti, they can find so many sheeters and thieves. I don't think common public buy that type for agriculture or daily usage.

Poor guy did not listen to his parents at young age and he went behind unwanted people and now he has no other option. He is frustrated with his financial burden. This kind of incident will be happening more in coming days in D.K. People should understand by going behind B.D, RSS, KFD and so on. They will be trained to fight and do illegal activities.
The leaders and their family will be working in good atmosphere making money and they will be protected by this kind of people.

WEAK LAWS ARE MOTIVATING THE PEOPLE TO BECOME ROWDIES IN INDIA AND THEY ARE DEPENDING ON THIS PROFESSION FOR THEIR LIVELY HOOD. AFTER GETTING THE BAIL, HE WILL START TO THREATEN THE POLICE OFFICE WHO ARRESTED HIM. IF THEY MADE ENCOUNTER, COURT AND HUMAN RIGHTS ACTIVISTS WILL QUESTION THE OFFICER. SO HOW TO CONTROL THE CRIMES IN INDIA???????

Watching this hardcore criminal and the sword, it is enough to send shock wave in one’s mind and heart
“Criminals do not die by the hands of the law. They die by the hands of other men”
If you cannot send him to gallows, at least ensure that he is given life imprisonment to save the lives of innocent people.
