Three of UP family jump in front of train


Firozabad (Uttar Pradesh), May 5 (IANS): A family of three in Firozabad district of Uttar Pradesh committed suicide by jumping in front of a running train on Tuesday, police said.

Vivek, 30, his wife Nirma and seven-year-old daughter Dolly from Armara Jat village near Makhanpur ended their lives early on Tuesday, Makhanpur station officer S.K. Mehra said.

Neighbours told police that the couple used to have frequent quarrels as they were in financial distress. They had a big fight on Monday night too.

The villagers found their mutilated bodies near the railway track on Tuesday morning.

The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examination.
