Mangalore, Mar 23: "Horizon 2007", a two-day national-level conference on Hospital administration was inaugurated Fr Muller Medical College here on Friday March 23 morning.

The conference has been organized by Department of Hospital Administration of Fr Muller Medical College.  The conference was inaugurated by Vinay Hegde, president of Nitte Education Foundation.

Speaking on the occasion, Vinay Hegde welcomed the step taken by the institute to organize a conference on hospital administration. "This is a booming industry today with ample opportunities for people.  There is a lot of scope for employment in this sector.  People should come forward to grab the existing opportunities with both hands right now," he said.

Prof Yesudian, dean, TISS delivered keynote address. 

Fr Baptist Menezes, director FMCI presided over the function.  Dr L L Joshua, Fr Denis D'Sa, administrator, Prof Yesudian were also present on the occasion.

Fr Muller Charitable Institute administrator Fr Denis D'Sa welcomed the gathering while L L Joshua proposed the vote of thanks.  Flavian Quadros, coordinator compered the programme.
