Udupi: Irresponsible driving kills pillion rider wife

Udupi, May 6: Reckless and irresponsible driving of a husband killed his pillion rider wife.

Sharada Kamath (46) from Janthra in Belman is the person deceased.

The accident happened on the night of May 4 at Prince Point in Shirva. Radhakrishna was riding Scooty with his wife from Katpadi to Belman. The scooty landed in a ditch due to reckless driving of the rider.

Sharada who was seriously injured in the accident was rushed to a hospital in Udupi immediately. But she succumbed to her injuries on Tuesday May 5.

A case stands registered at Shirva police station.
