All charges proven, says judge in Salman hit-and-run case


Mumbai, May 6 (IANS): Salman Khan was found guilty on Wednesday in the 2002 hit-and-run case by a Sessions Court here.

Delivering the verdict, Additional Sessions Judge D.W. Deshpande said: "You were driving the car," adding Salman was under the influence of alcohol and behind the wheels without a licence. He said all charges stood proven.

On September 28, 2002, Salman's Toyota Land Cruiser rammed into a roadside bakery in Bandra West, close to his seafront home in Galaxy Apartments, leaving four people sleeping outside injured. One of them died later.
