Udupi, Mar 23: ISKCON Jagannath Rath Yatra was held here in the city on Thursday March 22 evening. The yatra was flagged-off from Rajangan here and returned to Rajangan after parading to the main streets of the city.
The procession was flagged-off by Vidyasagarteertha Swamiji of Paryaya Math. International ISKCON society chief Jayapathak Swamiji was also present at the ceremony held at Rajangan.
Present on the dais were Dr Rajshekhar, Badthi Sidhanth Swamiji and others. More than 200 foreign devotees from nearly 40 countries all over the world were present for procession.
The two and half hour-long procession went through the city streets and returned to Rajangann with devotees going round with devotional hymns and chants.
