BSF seizes cannabis along Bangladesh border

Kolkata, May 6 (IANS): Border Security Force personnel seized 6.5 kg of cannabis while it was being smuggled from West Bengal into Bangladesh, an officer said on Wednesday.

The seizure was made in Nadia district on Tuesday.

"While the smugglers who were carrying the consignment to Bangladesh managed to escape, we have seized 6.5 kg ganja," a BSF officer said.
