Sunny Thursday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 7 (IANS): It was a sunny Thursday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature recorded at 27.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average.

The Met office has forecast a clear day ahead.

The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 44 degrees Celsius.

"The sky will be clear. However, the sky will start turning cloudy from night onwards," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 29 percent.

Wednesday's maximum temperature settled at 42.7 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average and the minimum temperature was recorded at 24.5 degrees Celsius, slightly below the season's average.
