Delhi Metro to run on single line on Tis Hazari-Inderlok route

New Delhi, May 7 (IANS): The Delhi Metro on Thursday said its services between Tis Hazari and Inderlok stations will run on single line for a brief period over the weekend due to maintenance and repair work.

Train services between the two stations, which fall on Line 1, operating from Dilshad Garden to Rithala, would run on single line on May 9 and May 10, a Delhi Metro release said.

On May 9, trains would run on single line from 6 a.m. till 7.30 a.m., while on May 10, the trains would run on single line from 10 a.m. till 12.30 p.m., it said.

The frequency during this period would be approximately 18 minutes at the three stations that fall on the section "Pulbangash, Pratap Nagar and Shastri Nagar".

"This is necessitated due to track maintenance work between Pulbangash and Pratap Nagar stations. However, normal train services will remain available on Inderlok-Rithala and Tis Hazari-Dilshad Garden sections of line-1" during these timings, the advisory added.
