Warm Saturday in Delhi


New Delhi, May 9 (IANS): It was a warm Saturday morning in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 25.7 degrees Celsius, a notch above the season's average.

The Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy day ahead along with dust storm.

The maximum temperature would hover around 42 degrees Celsius.

"The sky is expected to be partly cloudy and dust storm is likely to occur in the day," said an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Humidity at 8.30 a.m. was 30 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature was 42.3 degrees Celsius, three notches above the season's average, while the minimum temperature was 29 degrees Celsius, three notches above the average.
