Two women injured in Bengal blast


Kolkata, May 9 (IANS): Two women were injured on Saturday in an explosion inside a house in West Bengal, police said.

The explosion at Beguntola village in Burdwan district came days after a blast ripped through an illegal cracker factory in West Midnapore district's Pingla area, killing 12 people.

"Two women have been injured in the blast. Crude bombs were stored in the house which caused the explosion," Burdwan's Superintendent of Police Kunal Agarwal said.
