Doctor shot dead in Karachi


Islamabad, May 9 (IANS): A homeopathic doctor was killed on Saturday when unidentified miscreants opened fire at his clinic in southern Pakistan's Karachi city.

The incident took place in the city's Nazimabad area, Dawn online reported.

A police officer said the doctor, Anwar Ali Abidi, was injured in the attack and later succumbed.

Police suspect the incident was a target killing.
