Hyderabad student dies in WWE-style fight

Hyderabad, May 10 (IANS): In a shocking incident, a student was allegedly killed during a WWE-style fight by a group of teenagers who tried to project it as a road accident.

Police have arrested seven boys, all minors, and decided to exhume the body of Mohammed Nabeel for autopsy.

The incident occurred in Panjesha in the old city of Hyderabad early on May 3 but came to light on Sunday after the family of the victim lodged a complaint with the police.

A boy who witnessed the fight and filmed it on his mobile phone revealed to the police how Nabeel, a 12th standard student, collapsed during the fight. The shocking visuals were beamed on television channels.

After Nabeel collapsed, the boys took him on their motorbike to the hospital but he died on the way. The group informed the family that Nabeel fell from his bike due to fits.

Deputy Commissioner of Police V. Satyanarayana said a case of death under suspicious circumstances was registered but it may be converted to murder case after the autopsy.

He said the way the boys concealed the cause of death was a serious matter and the police would probe the incident from all angles. He declined to reveal the names of the accused as all of them are minors.

A group of about 15 youngsters was reportedly present when Nabeel and another boy punched each other. The group had organised the WWE-like fight and had even placed bets on who would win.

The parents of Nabeel have demanded stringent punishment to those involved in the killing of their son.

Parliament last week passed a bill to amend the law to try juveniles charged with heinous crimes like adults.

In fact WWF itself is fake. It is only a drama enacted by well trained hunks.
Moreover during every TV show of WWF the organizers themselves show a disclaimer on the screen for the notice of viewers that - this wrestling is done by well trained wrestlers and it is risky & harmful to imitate this WWF fights by people of all groups.

By your logic, you should have learnt lessons from the killing of school children in Pakistan and the happenings in Gulf.

But the tragedy is that you will never learn lessons.

Unfortunate one...It is not the time to enjoy with funny/prejudice minded comments but to think very seriously about our children's/new generations mentality. They believe as true whatever they watches on screen & trying to imitate it..Definitely a dangerous trend.Parents responsibility is much higher than ever, otherwise has to pay for it.

I am imagining the scenario, had the victim and accused been from different religious backgrounds. Hyderabad could have been burning by now !

If the victim belonged to a community that cremated the dead instead burying, how would they have conducted tests after a week to ascertain cause of death ?

This is how a typical secular mind works. even at the sad death of a boy, they have an urge to bring communal angle and show false pride. though the topic is not relevant here people can google on americal association for creation to learn more….(msg to Lydia)

Oh my God, really tragic! After reading this tragic news article, I feel that this entire thing was pre-planned and hence all involved should be punished according to the law.

I would like to highlight a few things here for the parents to understand and for consideration pertaining to their children activity and behavior:
    1) Do you monitor your children activities and their personal behavior at home, school and outside?
    2) Do you pay attention to any calls your children make while they are playing?
    3) Do you advise your children what is right and what is wrong?
    4) Do you know the details of the friends of your children?
    5) Do you have a contact number of your children’s friends in case if you need in any emergency?
    6) Do you know where your children go, what time they will be returning, how long does the activity continue?

We being the parents should understand the roles & responsibilities of a parent, a friend, a mentor, a guide and above all a supervisor. How many times we see our children involve in physical activities at home! Anytime anything can happen, your child may get hit on to the corner of the furniture or may slip in the bathroom or may get suffocated due to swallowing some un-wanted things/food and all of a sudden from happy mood we go into tragic mood!
